Winnie the Tzu

Winnie is very good about grooming time.  She stays perfectly still for the most part and lets me place her in any which way I need to groom her.  When I was posting the grooming series on her YouTube channel I got a lot of comments regarding how well trained she is for grooming and asking how I get her to lay so still.  I honestly think consistency and positive reinforcement are the keys to any kind of training.  Having groomed her every single day since she was 12 weeks old helps, too.  She knows exactly what to expect, including her special post-grooming treat reward.  If you are patient, consistent, and gently firm & clear in your intentions to your dog, they will learn very quickly what it is you expect from them.
