Cousin Yoda and her cute little tongue that just doesn’t seem to fit all the way inside of her mouth :)
The girls at our 30th birthday party…
Partying is so exhausting!
The girls just chillin’ with their Daddies…
I couldn’t get the girls to stand still for a photo due to the excitement of their Christmas stockings! I think the blurry photos are kind of perfect though :)
Thanksgiving just wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without our pups. Cousin Yoda was there to share in the celebration as well…

Cousin Yoda sure knows how to kick it on vacation. Nap all day!
You never have to look far for cousin Yoda when she comes over to play, because she makes a beeline for the nearest perch as soon as she arrives!
Cousin Yoda sitting in “mouse pose,” as I like to call it, at a family gathering. Big brown eyes is a Shih Tzu must have!
I know I’ve mentioned how much Winnie idolizes her cousin Yoda. Well, cousin Yoda went home with my sister-in-law and her husband right before New Years, but Winnie stayed until I came home with my mother-in-law a week later. As soon as cousin Yoda left, Winnie decided to take over her usual spots, including Perch #1 & Perch #2.
Perch #1 = the top corner of one of the couches in the great room that has a great view of the entire room, part of the kitchen, and out the front windows.
Perch #2 = on top of one of the chairs in the dining room that has a view of the entire dining and kitchen area.
Winnie would not know independently how cool it is to sit in those spots if Yoda hadn’t done it first.
It’s finally Christmas Day (in my photos)! Santa stuffed stockings for both Yoda & Winnie, because they were (mostly) good girls all year. Yoda was so excited about her presents that I couldn’t get a clear shot of her, she was moving so fast. It’s amazing how far this girl’s come. When my sister-n-law got her a year and a half ago, she didn’t even know what to do with a toy and hid from everyone. Love is an amazing healer.
